Governor Carmencita Reyes-Queen of Marinduque?This article is a repost from Eli Obligacion article from Marinduque Rising blogsite dated September 7, 2011. The Reyes Clan had been a political dynasty in Marinduque for almost 40 years. FaceBook comments and postings from numerous members indicate very unfavorable impression on how the current provincial officials are handling the power crises in Marinduque, the inadequate water supply as well as the status of medical facilities in the province. This posting is intended for those who have no facebook accounts, but are following my personal blogs. Here's the repost:
"Carrion said the criticisms against his administration are only caused by politics and he blamed Rep. Carmencita Reyes for them. Her family, who has ruled Marinduque for four decades, does not want anybody else to run the province. But what have they done for the province during all those years? he asked rhetorically. Marinduque is still a fourth-class province.

Will someone please kick her out of the office. She and her family has become useless and ineffective for the position they are holding. The people of Marinduque should sue her out of the office and replace her with a normal person. The government should include the leadership which helps the people have clean water and running electricity. It does not seem to be happening that way in Marinduque.
There is a page in FaceBook asking for her resignation and about 100 members have sign on. But it is not that easy in the Philippines to remove an elective official unless convicted of crime or declared incompetent. So, in the meantime the people of Marinduque suffers from brown outs, inadequate water supplies and poor medical facilities. Good Day to You, Mr or Ms. Anonymous!
